Tyrone’s Favourite Films Of 2013 - #1 Gravity (9.5/10)

Was there really any doubt that this would be number 1?
Everyone’s been talking about it and rightly so. Alfonso has put together a truly spectacular film here.
It’s such a gripping story matched with some truly beautiful visuals. Add in Sandra Bullock’s acting and you easily have the film of the year here.
This was the definition of a cinema experience and oh what an experience it was. It was thrilling, it was engaging it was all the things people have been saying about it and rightly so.
The only flaw is that I don’t know how re-watchable a film it is but does that really matter? Some films you can watch 20 times and still love but some films just need the one watch. This is the latter and is such a beautiful film.
It’ll be a while before I see a film that’s put together so well that it tops this.
