The fact that the man who did this to a woman can not only spend no time in jail, but be given awards and millions of dollars shows that we have failed as a society
I still maintain that him getting awards for his music is perfectly fine. He’s a terrible person, no getting around that, but he is winning awards for his music and not his personality which isn’t a fault with society. If anything a fault would be him not being able to do anything now. Again I know he’s a terrible person and there’s no justifying what he has done. He should have done jail time I agree with that BUT he is a musician and his music alone is award winning
But then again we as a society should be disgusted by him and we shouldn’t be listening to his music or promoting anything he’s in.
I know I do. When I hear anything has Chris Brown in it, I won’t listen. He may be a musician, but to me his job and his life go hand in hand. He did something horrible, he should pay with jail time and with losing listeners.
Can understand that but I still feel there is nothing wrong with his music alone. I support the idea of him getting jail time and people being disgusted by him as a person, which many are, but I feel him just making music is fine.
